PHONE:  There is cell phone coverage at the race site.  But remember, anyone found to have on in the ON position while racing will be DQ'ed.

CAMPING: There is CAMPING adjacent to the race site.  We have nothing to do with it, and it is $15 per night, on a first come first served basis.   There are several other campgrounds within 15 to 20 minutes from the race site.

CHECK-IN:  Teams will once again have the opportunity to check-in on Friday night between 6:000pm and 8:30pm in the City of Prescott. Early check-in will be at 150 N. Arizona Ave, right by the softball field and the skate park(this is a one-way block, so you have to enter off of Gurley Street.  Please take advantage of the early check-in, as our staff will be swamped with race stuff on Saturday morning.

PARKING:  The park charges a $2 parking fee upon entry.  Please unload your gear and then park where specified on the SITE MAP.

TA: The TA will open at 6:00am.  The TA is a specific area, we will have it marked off for teams to set up their gear.  

BATHROOMS: There ARE flushing toilets and sinks at the Race Site!

ALL TEAMS: You will leave your boats, and paddling gear in a separate area in the grass.  It will be obvious where to put them.  
 
Plan on being at the race site NO later than 7:00am.  This will insure that you have enough time to check-in with race staff and set up your gear and BE AT the mandatory pre-race meeting.  If you miss the pre-race meeting, you probably will not have the necessary info to complete the event.  This is one reason we recommend early check-in on Friday night.

PRE-RACE MEETINGS:  The pre-race meeting will be at 8:00am at the bandstand.  

If you want shade, we suggest an ez-up.  Please bring your folding chairs to relax in after the race.  

Please don't be one of those teams that packs up and leaves as soon as they are finished.......stick around, be part of the AR community!  

At the conclusion of the race, there will be food and refreshments, the awards ceremony and random drawings for our fantastic prizes. This will be a great time to visit with other teams and talk about the trials and tribulations of the race.  No matter how you finish, you will feel like you conquered the world.
